I have spent most of my life trying to fit in. I thought that wanting to make art was a private hobby kind of thing, and wanting to make comics was weird. The worst thing that I could do was stand out, and instead had an intense desire to blend in to the point where I was completely bland and un-noticeable.
I went from learning how to draw Betty and Veronica and Garfield as a kid to not drawing much at all.
Then social media came along and I discovered lots of people who were, well, like me.
And, well, here we are together. Welcome to my sometimes blog, sometimes comic, sometimes art showcase, but all the time glimpse into life in the margins. I have a full time job, and this is the stuff I do in the margins, to fulfill my creative side, and to hopefully help pay the bills of single mom who wants it all but needs a time-turner to just do some of it.
